I absolutely LOVE Autumn. Not only for the beauty in the atmosphere as it transforms but for the change in attire. The long sleeve tops come out, and darker denim peak through the blinds. Heavier fabrics dance about as if they haven't missed a beat to make way for the inevitable change in climate. Oh Autumn.... You are the sonnet I wish would never end.

Inspiration Board: Genesis Collection

Clothing design has always been "my thing" and when thinking of the first clothing collection for the shop I was immediately inspired to make the first impression be a lasting one. The first collection is amicably named 'Genesis'.

We decided to venture out a little today, get some fresh air & see some of the area (a much needed break from my sewing machine). We found a cute little marina that was beautifully lit by the time we got there.

Silver Lining

Hello Lovelies, this is a late post but still a goodie with all kinds of goodness. We went to a cute little downtown area (that had Christmas lights up everywhere, might I add) and took the camera. Its starting to get a little cold out here so I went with a few heavier pieces.

Sunshine Blogger Award!

I was recently nominated by the lovely MsTrueHappiness for this award and its certainly a pleasure to participate. So, here we go!

1. What do you feel your purpose is in life?

I think my purpose is to share with and teach others. Make them better & get their brain rocks to turning by sharing the knowledge I have. It is extremely rewarding to know that somehow you have affected someone else in a positive way.

2.What is your favorite book?

Blink by Malcolm Gladwell ; an amazing read!

3. Who or what inspires you most in life?

I'm inspired by monuments/art/children/ life... It all inspires me to do my best and be the best ME

4. Would your rather donate time or money?

Time. I would much rather someone spend time with me than give me money, but I mean I'm not going to turn down some cold cash either but I feel time spent is much ore valuable.

5. What are your best qualities?

I would have to say my ability to take charge and be a leader. I honestly believe I was meant to lead. I can also appreciate my creativity. I'm not the most creative person on earth but I am definitely not the least. I love how my mind works and the vast ideas that I come up with. 

6. If you were an organ in the body which would you be and why?

I'd be a heart, I'm courageous and genuine in my words. I'm super sensitive although you'd probably never be able to tell. I seriously will start to cry if I even see someone crying on tv! 

Adventure Diary: Grand Canyon

I recently got the opportunity to visit one of the Wonders of the World and it absolutely took my breath away. To be so close to something like that was amazing. Although there were an abundance of tourists, I found a sense of calm amongst the ruckus. Just noticed that I'm becoming quite the cultured young woman, I've seen alot and I can't thank God enough for allowing my path to be as such. More over filtered photos below... :-)
